Project Description
I am building a strong computer for gaming, video editing, and multitasking. I want it to run the latest games smoothly, manage heavy editing without crashing, and be responsive when multitasking. I'm selecting components that balance speed, energy efficiency, and the potential to update later so it doesn't become useless too fast. For this project, I decided to use the website https://pcpartpicker.com.
My virtual PC build.

Lesson Learned:
Creating a virtual PC allowed me to see how all of the pieces fit together and why they actually need to play along. I worked out how to acquire the best performance without exceeding my budget, as well as how to maintain it up-to-date for years. It also demonstrated why it is important to read reviews and specifications before clicking 'buy’ not all parts are made equal. It was a lot of fun to learn everything, and I now feel much more secure about taking on a real build eventually.
